The App
What is MediPub?
MediPub is a research companion for healthcare professionals, medical students, and researchers. It turns literature review into a fast, focused reading experience: discover trending research, follow journals, search PubMed, read and listen to abstracts, and organize papers in one app.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad. The iPad version is designed for the big screen with true split-view reading, and there is a home screen widget for trending research.
Does my library sync between devices?
Yes. Your followed journals, bookmarks, reading lists, and saved searches stay in sync across iPhone and iPad with iCloud.
Can I read offline?
Yes. Save PDFs to your personal library and read them offline, anywhere: on the ward, on a plane, or on your commute.
Can I listen instead of read?
Yes. Any abstract can be turned into audio, so you can keep up with the literature while commuting or between shifts.

Which journals can I follow?
MediPub covers 3,200+ high-impact journals across 42 medical specialties: The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Nature Medicine, BMJ, Circulation, and many more. Follow your favorites and their latest issues show up in one place.
How many articles can I search?
MediPub searches all of PubMed, which indexes 38M+ citations. Build precise queries with field tags and boolean conditions, then save the searches you run often and rerun them anytime.
What is “Trending Today”?
A daily feed of what researchers are reading right now, curated from PubMed into a clean reading list, alongside curated collections and the topics people are publishing about.
How does the free PDF finder work?
When a paper has a free, legal open-access version, MediPub shows a “Free PDF available” shortcut and opens the full text in the built-in reader. You can also keep it in your offline PDF library.
Which citation formats are supported?
Copy citations in AMA, APA, Vancouver, or BibTeX with one tap, straight from the article screen.
I found wrong or missing article data. What should I do?
Article metadata comes from PubMed. If something looks off inside the app itself, send us the article title through the contact form and we will take a look.
Subscription
Is MediPub free?
MediPub is free to download with a subscription that unlocks the full experience. You can try it before subscribing.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select MediPub. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Can I share my subscription with family?
Subscription sharing follows Apple’s Family Sharing rules as configured on the App Store listing. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and restore automatically on your own devices.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, then use the restore option in the app settings. Your subscription is recognized automatically.
